Nick Baldridge is a South Carolina based artist with more than twenty years of experience working across oil, watercolor, graphite, and ink. His fine art practice explores structure, movement, identity, and symbolism through figurative, equine, and conceptual work rooted in personal experience and direct observation.

Baldridge’s work moves between representation and abstraction, using the figure and recurring symbolic elements to examine memory, perception, and the complexities of human experience. His paintings and drawings are developed independently of commission or client brief, allowing the work to evolve through an ongoing process of observation, experimentation, and personal inquiry.

His work has been exhibited in galleries throughout Washington, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Mexico. Photography has also become an extension of his visual practice, informing his approach to light, composition, and the human figure.
