About Emma Hartman
Emma Hartman is a Southern painter based in Greenville, South
Carolina. She earned her BFA in Studio Art and MFA in Painting,
graduating with honors from the Savannah College of Art and
Design in Atlanta, Georgia. Hartman’s work has been featured in
exhibitions both online and across the country, including Where
We Once Were Someone (YoungSpace), Drowned Neon Rose (I
Like Your Work), Besharat Contemporary (Atlanta, GA), and False
Cast Gallery (San Diego, CA), as well as local venues such as the
Greenville Center for Creative Arts and the Metropolitan Arts
Council.
Integrating traditional techniques with contemporary expression,
Hartman’s current series, Enjoy!, explores the aesthetics of
nostalgia, sweetness, and simplicity in acrylic still life paintings.
