Suzanne Schmid’s pieces are preserved under a glass dome that she hand-blows in a hot glass studio. She uses a "cold connection" technique to build her pieces with nuts and bolts and machining parts. Her sculptures are modern-day reliquaries for the office and home.
Suzanne Schmid is a Sculptor and Jeweler living in Central Illinois. She and her dog hike in the woods often which is where she gathers much of the natural material she uses for her work.
