Spoonbill Gallery embodies the spirit of its namesake bird- a strange combination of beauty, grace, and quirk...
“I think I knew the Village of West Greenville S.C. would be the perfect location for a new gallery. I wanted to create a beautiful architectural space dedicated to art curated by other artists,” says Joseph Bradley, a nationally acclaimed artist known for his wild-life inspired paintings.
Bradley needed to look no further than his next-door neighbor to find the perfect Director for Spoonbill Gallery. Kristina White and Joseph began working on bringing Spoonbill to life in 2023 and thoughtfully curated a roster of artists to be represented by the gallery.
“Art is about connection,” says Kristina who is a recent transplant from New Orleans. Her career in the visual arts began primarily as a set designer and scenic painter for major motion pictures and television. Kristina is now the literal next-door neighbor to Joseph Bradley at home AND work. Joseph Bradley Studio is just next door to Spoonbill Gallery.
